The field of participants present at the Schlosspark dressage arena consists of more than 60 riders from 13 nations and 80 horses.

On the way to the European Championships, the domestic dressage elite will use the traditional show to present themselves and to qualify for the event in Rotterdam (NED, 19 to 25 August).
Whoever wants to go to Rotterdam will have to score in the Grand Prix for the Special Tour as well as in the direct competition between pairs. After all, for the Austrian team Rotterdam would also be the place for athletes to compete for the eventual qualification for the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 2020.
In addition to 13-time record state champion Victoria Max-Theurer (Upper Austria), the following Austrian riders amongst others participate in the CDI4*-events in Achleiten: the current state champion Belinda Weinbauer (Burgenland), vice-champion Astrid Neumayer (Upper Austria), Stefan Lehfellner (Upper Austria), third in the state championships, the U25 European championships finalists Karoline Valenta (Lower Austria) and Franziska Fries (Lower Austria), Christian Schumach (Carinthia), Amanda Hartung (Tyrol), Evelyn Haim-Swarovski (Tyrol), Florian Bacher (Styria) and Timna Zach (Styria).
